We are so very thankful that we get to do this work. We know that God’s heart is in this with us. He was the one who called Mission Partners For Christ into existence and He is the One who faithfully works through us and with us to reach those who most need the love of Christ.

Is there any privilege greater than getting to serve others for the glory of God? We sure don’t think so!

As we end this year, we just want to take a short pause to say thank you to our Creator and remember all that He accomplished this year through Mission Partners For Christ.

Island in the Indian Ocean (June 14-23, 2022)

This past June, a team of 4 nurses and 4 doctors, and other volunteers,  traveled to an island in the Indian Ocean to provide medical treatment to those who call that island home. We cannot name this island because it is a place that is closed to the gospel, and we cannot risk the safety of believers there.

That said, our medical mission trip to this island was a smashing success. We were able to treat more than 1500 patients, and we were also given the privilege of introducing several people to Jesus.

Please continue to pray for the small community of Christians on this island, both for safety and encouragement.

Here’s a photo of the seashell collection that one of our volunteers brought home as a souvenir.

Ethiopia (October 1-10, 2022)

Our team of eight Americans traveled to Ethiopia on October first of this year. They were joined by 3 Ethiopian doctors, a dentist, and a radiologist. We were also blessed by having two leaders from Global Hope Network International and three missionaries with Great Commission Ministry Ethiopia(GCME), a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ International join us in our work.

What our team experienced there took our collective breath away. The views were like nothing any of us had ever seen before. God is an incredible artist, to say the least! We enjoyed meeting the villagers in the area where we served, trying new foods, and getting to explore a bit of the surrounding area.

We treated 1,895 patients and were honored to be able to lead 37 people (including our tour guides!) to know Jesus as their personal Savior.

Please continue to remember the people of Ethiopia in your prayers for revival.

Clean Water Wells in Benin

In November 2021, we were blessed to be able to serve with our team in Benin for ten days. There, we discovered that clean water access was extremely limited. In Dassa, we learned that their own water well was over 50 years old and only held a puddle of water. It also had trash floating in it.

Needless to say, we were devastated that those who called Dassa home didn’t have access to clean drinking water. So we reached out to all of you and asked you to consider giving generously to help provide a clean water well.

Our supporters came through for us and the people of Benin in a big way! In what seemed like no time at all, we were able to gift Dassa with a clean water well.

After that, we turned our eyes to Takon Benin, a small village who also had extremely limited access to clean drinking water. Once again, thanks to our generous supporters, we were able to gift a well to the people in Takon as well.

Here are just a few images of what you all made possible.

Transportation For Pastors

Another opportunity that came out of our November 2021 trip to Benin was to gift pastors in that area with badly needed transportation. Rosemary Fisher, one of our volunteers whose story you can read here, saw the need and decided to act.

Rosemary created a gofundme and through that, we were able to raise enough money to gift two pastors with motorbikes:

Looking Ahead to 2023

As we look ahead to the new year, we sit in awe of the doors that our Lord is opening up for us. We have a few new trips in the works and we’d love for you to join us in ensuring that everyone has access to medical care.

In February, we will be heading to Guinea. While registration has closed for this particular trip, you can still support our work by holding our team in prayer as we prepare to travel. You can also support us financially by donating. Remember that Mission Partners For Christ is a 501c3 organization here in the United States, which means that your donations are tax-deductible!

In July, we will be going to Burundi. We’ve loved serving there in the past and we cannot wait to return. There is still time for you to join us on this trip. We need everyone: medical professionals and nonprofessionals. There is room for everyone.

Keep watching our website and social media for information on other upcoming trips and other ways that you can support the work that God is doing through Mission Partners For Christ.
